About me

I explore relationships between humans and the rest of the natural world. We do not only shape the rest of nature but it also shapes us. Growing up in the countryside in the south of The Netherlands I developed a strong connection with nature. I took up photography in my early twenties, when I was living on the British south coast, inspired by the coastal landscape and shores. I am self taught and later in life started taking photography lessons at the University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam Fotoacademie. In 2022 I graduated at the Amsterdam Fotoacademie.
